About this site

What is this?

The internet is full of “amazing facts” with no source. This site is the opposite: every fact here was said out loud by a real speaker in a TED, TED-Ed or Kurzgesagt video — and every fact links to the exact second it was said, so you can watch the proof yourself.

There are 11,000+ facts, in 8 languages, drawn from thousands of talks and videos. Think of it as the shortcut between a 5-second curiosity and an 18-minute talk you were never going to watch.

How it works

Each fact is extracted from the videos themselves, along with the exact moment it was said. If a fact sounds too wild, don’t take our word for it: tap the timestamp and hear it said.

All credit for the ideas belongs to the original speakers and channels — the links always send you to their videos.

Privacy

No ads, no cookies, no trackers. We keep anonymous counters (how many visits, which facts get clicked) to understand what works — nothing tied to you. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your e-mail is used for that and nothing else, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

Support

This is a free, one-person project. The best way to support it is simple: share a fact with someone who’d love it. If you’d like to say hi, suggest a channel, or report a wrong fact: lucaspufe@gmail.com.
